THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! JUST 50 DAYS TO GO

Wednesday 7th November 2018, officially marks 50 days to go until the 11th Edition of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship (MWTC) – and organiser FLASH Entertainment, is set to give fans an action-packed, three-day spectacle of world-class tennis and entertainment.

Played on similar surface and weather conditions as the Australian Open – the year’s first Grand Slam, MWTC offers its attendees the equivalent of a Grand Slam quarter-final with awe-inspiring tennis played by some of the biggest names in the game.

Confirmed players include the newly crowned, world number one Novak Djokovic, French Open finalist Dominic Thiem, defending MWTC champion Kevin Anderson, alongside Next Gen ATP title holder South Korean Hyeon Chung and Next-Gen star Karen Khachanov, who very recently won the Paris Masters. Joining them on the women’s side is Venus Williams, who has a total of seven Grand Slam titles.

In addition to the on-court action, the event also welcomes families, as the Tennis Village will take on a new theme everyday complete with fun activities for the family. Tennis fans and their families will enjoy themed experiences including:

  • Kids Day. Free entry for children (age 2-12) with the purchase of an adult ticket*
  • Foodies Day. Live cooking with a star player in addition to cooking stations and culinary specialities from around the world
  • Ladies Day Out. An elegant ladies day celebrating fashion, sports and healthy living

This year’s Championship will feature six top male players and two leading female players, with additional names set to be announced in the coming weeks.
