  • What is the tournament format?

    The format includes a 6 player draw, single elimination series of matches with the final match featuring the remaining two best players. A 3rd and 4th place match will precede the final.

  • Will players be doing autograph sessions?

    Daily autograph sessions with two of the star players will be held approximately between 2:00pm and 3:00pm in the Tennis Village.

  • What dates are the event?

    27th -29th December 2012 (Thursday to Saturday December)

  • What time does the first game start (second game as well)?

    On day 1, First Game is scheduled to start at 5:00pm. Second game is scheduled to start at 7:00pm.
    On day 2 and 3, First Game is scheduled to start at 3:00pm.
    Second Game is scheduled to start at 5:00pm; If the first match runs long then it will be followed directly by the second match.

  • How much are the event tickets?

    All customers entering the venue must produce a valid ticket, including Children.

  • What is the difference between each ticket category?

    Three categories are available for sale (Premier; Category 1; Category 2):

    - Premier is closest to the court and includes a hospitality (food & beverage) component.
    - Category 1 is the next section closest to the court followed by Category 2.
    - Neither Category 1 or 2 includes hospitality (food & beverage).

  • How can I guarantee I get a good seat?

    i. Purchase a 3 day package (Section 203 or 211), or any other tickets which are sold at a best available at time of purchase.

  • Can I purchase a ticket plus Hotel package?

    No. However, customers are welcome to contact our official Hotel Sponsor “Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi hotel” for prices/booking.

  • Where can you buy the tickets?

  • Is there an age minimum for the Event?

    This is an all-ages event. Valid ID checks will take place for those over 21 wishing to purchase alcohol. Original Identification must be produced to purchase alcoholic beverages (Original Passport, Driver’s License, UAE ID card). Children 2 years and above require a ticket. Children under the age of 2 will be required to sit on a Carers lap unless a ticket is purchased.

  • Are there transport services from Dubai to the event in Abu Dhabi?

    No.

  • Are drinks and food allowed in the stadium?

    No outside food is permitted in the stadium however there will be various vendors within the Tennis Village catering to customer requirements. Please note that no bottle caps are allowed in the venue (these will be removed upon purchases).

  • Can you buy tickets at the venue on event day?

    All depends on availability – tickets are planning to sell fast based on this year's line-up! So purchase your tickets now.

  • If you buy tickets, where can you collect them?

    All customers will be sent an email confirmation for the purchase of their tickets.
    E tickets: Tickets sent to the customer via email, as a PDF attachment by choice, at a charge of AED 12.00 (Note: e-tickets are not available for premier hospitality tickets)
    Only valid for Category 1 & 2 sales
    Premier Hospitality & VIP tickets receive commemorative laminates and Parking passes; thus, will receive one package as a whole.
    Courier: Tickets sent to the customer via Aramex, at a charge of AED 30.00 per transaction. Photo Identification must be shown.
    Option for all ticket sale categories.
    Collection: Tickets can be collected and also purchased (subject to availability) at the Box Office onsite, open on day of the event at least 2 hours prior.
    * Tickets purchased 10 days prior to the event, will not be couriered; therefore, tickets will need to be picked up at the box office on the day of the event.
    Tickets can only be collected by the purchaser on production of the card used to complete the booking.

  • I can't open the attachment that was sent (E-ticket).

    You will need Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher in order to open your e tickets.

  • Why are there barcodes on the ticket?

    All tickets have a uniquely encrypted barcode to validate entry and allow detection of counterfeit tickets.

  • Is there a limit as to how many tickets I can buy?

    Yes, the limit is 8 tickets per transaction.

  • Are there any refunds or exchanges?

    Once you purchase the ticket, it is a condition of sale that there are no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. By purchasing a ticket, a customer is automatically accepting all terms and conditions on the back of the ticket. Attendees are encourages to read the terms and conditions prior to entering the venue.

  • What is the purchase policy?

    It is a condition of sale that the tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Organiser, be resold at a price above the face value of the tickets or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to in any way enhance the demand for any goods or services.

    If a ticket is sold and/or used in breach of this condition, the Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the bearer of the ticket. Please also note that any proposed invitation or other material in relation to the tickets containing any image or material forming part of the intellectual property rights of FLASH or the Artist without the Organisers prior written consent, is an infringement of the intellectual property rights and all rights and remedies in this respect are reserved.

  • What credit cards can you use when purchasing the ticket online?

    Visa, MasterCard and Visa Debit cards are accepted.

  • What if you lose/destroy/damage you ticket?

    The Organiser will determine the nature of the problem, and if your tickets are replaceable, instruct you as to where and when to pick up your replacement tickets. Replacement tickets can only be picked up by the Credit Card holder with the original credit card used in the purchase. The replacement of any tickets automatically cancels and voids the previous bar-coded ticket.

  • Are cameras allowed into the venue?

    Yes, but no flash during play.

  • What can't I take into the venue for the event?

    Aerosol Cans, chains, studded bracelets, glow sticks, coolers or ice chests, furniture, fireworks, flares or smoke bombs, illegal drugs, laser pens and pointers, noisemaking devices (whistles, air horns, etc.) food and beverage, poles to display banners, flags, etc., cameras, video or recording devices, weapons and any other items deemed to be inappropriate or dangerous by the Organiser.

  • Will there be food and beverage at the venue?

    Yes, food and beverage will be made available for those who wish to purchase.

  • How can I get to the venue?
  • Is there parking available during the event?

    Yes, car parking spaces are available at around the venue. Please follow the clearly marked parking signs.

  • How much time prior to the event should I be there?

    Tennis village opens early (at 10:30am), so you are encouraged to come early. Featuring several family activities, music, tasty food and catering outlets, prizes to be won at sponsor exhibition booths, face painting as well as other fun for children and families.

  • Can I leave the venue and come back?

    Yes

  • Is there wheelchair or disabled access?

    There is wheelchair and disable access at the venue for this show. A disable platform is available, for a wheelchair and one carer. Please email the Organiser at tickets@thinkflash.ae to notify of any wheelchair or disabled customers attendance.

  • Will the event be broadcasted on television or radio?

    It will be broadcast live on television all three days locally and internationally and will also be covered by radio through Radio 2 on day one
