The 11th edition of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship took place on 27-29th December and attracted thousands of fans who witnessed incredible tennis from 8 of the world’s top players. In a line up that featured Rafael Nadal, Kevin Anderson, Dominic Thiem, Hyeon Chung and Karen Khachanov, it was Novak Djokovic who walked away with his 4th MWTC title and the perfect start to his 2019 season. For the first time ever in Abu Dhabi, this year also saw Venus Williams take on sister Serena in front of a packed crowd on Day 1, ultimately ending in a super tiebreak win for Venus.
